The school offers a training program that is both technical and business oriented, with a focus on managerial skills and know-how. The Digital School prepares for the following double degree:
- La Digital School Diploma » Bachelor Gaming & Esport – Designer
- Level 6 « E-Business Project Manager » title
The diploma « E-Business Project Manager » is recognized by the State, accredited by the Ministry of Labour.
RNCP sheet – E-Business Project Manager
- Accessible by VAE and VAP.
- Possibility of validating one or more blocks of skills.
Possible continuation of studies in a professional Master’s degree

I Integrate our Bachelor 3 specializing in Gaming :
- Holder of a Bac+2, all fields, having validated 120 ECTS.
- Access possible by the Validation of Professional Experience (VAP)

Objectives of our training
The course with the specialization « GAMING » leads our students to work in the world of video games through research and conception, design and technique.
In addition to specialized skills, the Bachelor’s degree in e-business project management aims to :
- Develop your digital skills on all levels (Development, Webdesign and Webmarketing)
- Be able to develop a complete digital strategy
- Study and analyze the performance of digital actions

ORGANIZATION OF COURSES AND CONFERENCES
Divided into 10 modules of 20 to 24 hours and 4 professional face-to-face conferences spread throughout the year and organized into 3 learning categories:
RESEARCH AND DESIGN
- Documentary research and organization of reference tools: Feeding the student’s knowledge and fructification of the project by relying on historical, technical, symbolic references, etc. allowing the laying of the foundations of concepts and the optimization of the creative process.
- Classical learning allows the acquisition of concrete notions of anatomical representations, of the use of the rules of combinations and harmony of colors as well as the bases of the construction of technical drawings and plans. The interest of this more general education lies in the idea of communicating ideas through clear presentations, models/propsheets or adapted concept art.
- Digital drawings in the specific context of video games, a particular mastery of the Adobe suite (Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign …) is essential in order to perfect its expressions of concepts and communicate clearly original creative projects. (Development of universes, peoples, creatures, textiles, etc.)
DESIGN
- Digital Sculpture learning organic sculpture and the basics of hard surface sculpting on ZBRUSH, SCULPTRIS or MUDBOX
- Polygonal modeling: learning the basics and advanced modeling on 3DS MAX, MODO or BLENDER and optimization for video games
- Advanced texturing on the texture creation software SUBSTANCE PAINTER and SUBSTANCE DESIGNER
- Character design Combined notions of modeling, rigging, skinning, baking and animation around a character
- Level design Creation of a specific original environment with all its own characteristics for a video game level
- Props design Creation of a series of props specific to a given situation and context. Combining the notions of references, coherence and relevance in the presentation of propsheets.
Continuous teaching acquired throughout the training and application with professional aims via the « projects » part can be compared to a pedagogy of acquisition of soft skills
TECHNIQUES
- Integration in video game engines optimization of design software to UNREAL ENGINE 4/5, UNITY 3D or CRY ENGINE
- Visual scripting via UNREAL ENGINE or UNITY 3D. Understand the simple principles of programming in video games and understand the interdisciplinary collaboration in the development of a video game in a studio.
- Learn and optimize the gaming workflow, mastering the transitions and flow from the initial idea to the editing of an original video game by understanding the fundamental usefulness of perfecting each intermediate step.
- Creation of a portfolio of skills putting the student’s creative and technical skills to professional use in order to legitimately present themselves at MASTER GAMING interviews to deepen their skills with a view to becoming a lead designer, art director and much more.

FABIEN-ARIIMOANA KERNÉIS – REFERENT FOR THE GAMING SPECIALTY
Fabien-Ariimoana holds a Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique from ESAD Orléans, specialized in space design and interior architecture, and is now a 3D teacher in the design section at the Brest site of the Ecole Européenne Supérieure d’Arts de Bretagne. He will coordinate the Gaming speciality in the 3rd year Bachelor’s program at the Digital School. The objective of this training is to open on the world of 3D, by approaching and deepening the key concepts of this universe: modeling, digital sculpture (sculpting), virtual lighting (lighting), materials and texturing, optimization of rendering calculations (rendering), structural composition of images (compositing), three-dimensional animation, 3D graphics, …
This specialization will allow the most motivated students to integrate the most varied sectors such as animation, visual communication studios, advertising, the world of video games…

ADMISSION PROCESS:
The admission process to our schools is done in 2 steps:
- The study of the file . The objective is to verify the adequacy between the candidate’s profile, his training, his professional project and the chosen training. At the end of this first step, the candidate will be declared eligible or not.
- Admission tests . If declared eligible, the candidate will be interviewed by the person in charge of the program or by a person involved in the program applied for. The selection is based on the candidate’s general level, professional project, general culture and motivation. Depending on the school, the selection interview may be followed by additional written tests.

There are 2 possibilities to integrate our schools:

- Applicants can make an appointment with an academic advisor to submit their application. The study of the file is done on line. The candidate’s eligibility or not is pronounced immediately.
- If he/she is declared eligible, an appointment is scheduled for the selection interview and the written tests, if applicable.
- After the admission tests, the final answer is communicated within 48 to 72 hours.
